Introduction
All local educational agencies (LEAs) are required to complete and submit the 2006-07 Program Information Report (PIR), which addresses academic intervention services, by September 28, 2007. The report enables the Department to provide Title I program participation data to the U.S. Department of Education.
All LEAs are expected to complete the electronic version of the PIR, presented in ten separate parts plus an LEA Contact form, and submit it to the Department via the internet. If you would like a convenient blank copy of the entire form, we have provided a version of the 2002-03 PIR (Program Information Report for 2002-03) in Adobe Acrobat format to use for a paper document to help in the collection of the data. While the software used for transmission is different, the categories, table numbers, etc, are exactly the same. Do not submit a paper copy of this form. The only acceptable transmission method is via the Internet.

Notes for Completion:
To access the form, click on the link above. Once the report menu is open, select the portion of the form that you want to complete and submit the form online by pressing the "Submit" button at the bottom of the form. You will receive an acknowledgement and then be directed back to the Main Menu after each submission. If you do not receive an acknowledgement ("Thank you for submitting...."), then the transmittal may not have been completed.
If you do not find your LEA listed in the drop-down list, contact the Title I office (phone and e-mail below).
Submit separate forms for "Regular School" (10-month) and "Summer School" (2-month).
Staff FTEs can be reported in decimals (one or two places). Be sure to include the decimal point. All other data are integer values only.
When you have completed a particular section of the PIR form and are ready to submit it to the Department, be sure to print a copy of the form (if desired) and then click on the "SUBMIT" button at the bottom of the last page of the report. You will then be returned to the Main Menu.
You may complete one or more parts of the form, print, submit, close your browser, and return at a later time to finish.
Be sure to fill out the "Contact Information" form (available from the Main Menu). Do this form last, as it provides a section for any notes or comments you may wish to submit. Be sure to include an e-mail contact, as this will be the preferred method for resolving discrepancies and getting questions answered.
IMPORTANT: Be sure to include all of the AIS services provided by your LEA in this form.
Part A covers services funded in whole or in part by Title I;
Part B is for services provided by nonpublic schools, facilities for the Neglected and Delinquent, Pre-K services and the Family Literacy Program (a required entry); and
Part C covers services provided in whole or in part by funds from sources other than Title I. Split-funded staff (and the services they provide) should be reported in both Parts A and C.
